The Helena Flats Parent Teacher Organization did terrific work hosting our Trunk or Treat Friday. We had such good weather and loved all the great participation from the community.
The Helena Flats Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting our Trunk or Treat this evening Friday 10/25/2024 from 5:30-8:00pm at Helena Flats School. The trunks will be parked in the drop off lane facing the sidewalk so please do not park next to the sidewalk. Food Trucks will also be on site. We look forward to seeing all our wonderful Helena Flats families!

Parents/Guardians we are beginning to use this visual along with dialogue in our classrooms. This is a way for our students to self-identify their feelings as well as restorative practices and techniques to be a Victor who is Above the Line moving forward to accomplish great things as opposed to a Victim. We have visuals for this in every classroom and throughout our building. This helps teachers and students to develop effective strategies and dialogue together in building a positive culture. We want to communicate this with Parent/Guardians and please feel free to reinforce this type of dialogue at home as well if you choose.

Helena Flats School celebrating Mr. Gil's 83rd birthday. Students made banners, the band played while students sang happy birthday. His dedication to the school and students is wonderful.

Parent and Guardians, there is no school for students on Thursday 10/17/2024 and Friday 10/18/2024. These days are for staff to attend a Montana Educators Association conference if they choose. Have a great day!
The Fire Department visited Helena Flats and gave a great presentation to our students.
5th graders experienced a, "Book Tasting," where they could try different "flavors" (genres) of fiction books. Mrs. Hill cooked up a ridiculous accent and played music from the movie Ratatouille to add to the room transformation.

Helena Flats and Deer Park are hosting our 5th and 6th grade volleyball tournament October 11th and 12th. The Helena Flats Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting this event. Last regular season game for our Helena Flats 8th grade volleyball players. They have done wonderful this season and are going to tear it up in their tournament next week!
